In short: Learn about accessible facilities and assistance before your visit.
A club designed to welcome everyone
NiComedy Club wants every guest to enjoy shows, classes, and events comfortably. The main entrance, lobby, Main Hall, and accessible restroom are connected by a step-free route. The Studio and selected classrooms can be reached by elevator.
Wheelchair spaces
The Main Hall has six wheelchair spaces, and the Studio has two. Each space can include one adjacent companion seat. Availability is limited, so request these spaces while booking or at least 48 hours before the event.
Manual and powered wheelchairs are welcome when they fit within the designated spaces. For safety reasons, wheelchairs cannot be positioned in an aisle or in front of an exit. Our team can store a walker nearby and return it during intermission or at the end of the performance.
Essential companions
When a guest requires assistance to attend an event, one companion seat may be provided at no additional charge, subject to availability. Submit the request before the performance. We do not ask for detailed medical information; we only collect what the team needs to arrange a safe and suitable welcome.
Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests
An induction loop covers a marked section of the Main Hall. Selected performances offer captions, transcripts, or sign-language interpretation. These services are identified on the event page. We recommend contacting us 72 hours in advance to confirm the available setup and select the most appropriate seating area.
Blind and low-vision guests
Guide and service dogs are admitted free of charge throughout all public areas. A water bowl can be provided. A team member can guide a guest from the entrance to their seat and give a spoken description of the room layout. Performances with audio description are clearly identified in the program.
Sensory and non-visible needs
Relaxed performances are scheduled periodically. These may include low-level lighting, adjusted sound, and permission to leave and return during the show. Complimentary earplugs are available at the front desk. Guests who need to remain near an exit can request appropriate seating.
Preparing for your arrival
Please arrive about 30 minutes before the performance. Give your name at the front desk; accommodation details are shared only with team members who need them. Available arrangements may differ for private events or unusual room configurations.
To arrange accommodations, submit the contact form at least 48 hours in advance. Include the event date, show title, and the assistance you would find helpful.
